Roof Only Conservatory Refurbishment
If your conservatory is too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter, you are not alone. Older glass or polycarbonate roofs simply do not provide enough insulation, which means the room becomes uncomfortable for much of the year and is used far less than you intended.
If temperature is the main issue, replacing the roof with a lightweight tiled system and a plastered internal ceiling can make a significant difference. The space feels warmer in winter, cooler in summer and more like a natural part of your home.
We remove your existing roof completely and install a fully insulated replacement built to modern standards. If you are concerned about losing light to the conservatory or the adjoining room, you can include glazed panels or ventilation within the new roof design, giving you the right balance of light and comfort.
Complete Conservatory Refurbishment
As your conservatory windows are not as exposed to the elements as the roof is, we usually find that windows do not need to be replaced. However, with a new roof, you can expect at least another ten years out of the conservatory, so this would be the time to consider whether you are completely happy with the layout.
